Awards will be given for Chess, Dance, Drama, Debating, Music (Instrumental, Band/Orchestra; Choir), Photography, Public Speaking and Visual Art.
A girl is not eligible for an award if she does not participate at school in the above activities if the activity is offered at school.
A girl’s behaviour and her commitment to and participation in the activity should be exemplary and in line with the school’s code of conduct.

The points’ allocation in various areas differs from activity to activity according to frequency of meetings, opportunities for competition etc. These are awarded so that it is possible to achieve a scroll by Grade 10, and Silver Bar in Grade 10 or 11 and a Blazer only for exceptional talent.
BAND/ORCHESTRA/ENSEMBLE AWARDS
Pupils must be members of the Jazz Band or Concert Band or Orchestra or smaller ensembles (eg Strings). Points are awarded for each separately and are combined for either a Band or an Orchestra award.

The above awards are based on TRINITY GUILDHALL DRAMA EXAMS . Trinity Guildhall is internationally accredited and offers exams in Graded Levels from Grade 1 to Grade 8 as well as Performance Certificates, Professional Certificates and Diplomas. Other equivalent examining bodies may be considered.
65 – 75% = Pass
75 – 85% - Pass with Merit
85% upwards = Pass with Distinction
(50% - 65% pass for L.T.C.L. diploma level)
