Dear Parents

I am sure you have missed your little treasures this week… or, maybe you have relished the peace! I want to test this to see if it reaches you as I have added our new parents to my list. Secondly, I want to ask you to sign up on our website so that you will receive all correspondence from the school. This will mean you will receive the fortnightly ‘Chat’ and you will also be informed of matters pertaining to school, hostel etc. It’s fun to see all that is going on here!

And, lastly, here are some of our pics of the weekend. It was so busy but I think all the girls will say it was ‘so fun’. I think we were all exhausted by Sunday evening! There were all sorts of games on Friday evening (sadly, without the Grade 8s, but they had fun of their own), a jaunt to the beach and Boardwalk on Saturday, movies on Sat evening, a significant spiritual message  given by the girls on Sunday, other various activities and, finally, the Great Grey Get-together on Sunday afternoon and evening. Now, all the new girls can truly say they are part of the hostel family – real bodas!

The Grade 8s seem to have survived, but I know they are looking forward to their weekend!

My thanks must go to the Matrics who put everything together so enthusiastically and to the matrons and Miss Yates, who all got involved so willingly. Miss Yates has taken up residence in the flat and she is already proving to be such and asset here at Waterfield House.
