As we receive approximately 300 applications for Grade 8 each year there is extraordinary pressure on the school after the application closing date to make decisions and inform parents.

Admissions procedure

    • Open Day held in early February
    • Application forms for Grade 8 intake issued
    • Applications for 2025 close on 11 March 2024.
    • Enter all applications onto the scoring system
    • Hand all applications to the bursar
    • Admissions Committee meets to discuss applications
    • Work through sending letters of acceptance to successful candidates
    • Once we have had confirmation from successful candidates and are satisfied with our class numbers, we notify those who have not been accepted or placed on a waiting list
    • When space becomes available due to withdrawals or cancellations, the waiting list is activated
    • Grades 9 to 11 applications and placements are made after the start of Term 3 as we ask for the mid-year report. We make it clear to parents that decisions can only be made once we are sure of the number of spaces available.
    • We endeavour to accommodate people on transfer but this is dependent on space and proof of transfer from a parent’s company.
